A lot of things have been going on so I apologize for not posting in so long. I have a lot of updates that I will be adding over the next few days. I took a vacation around August 10th and had planned to put in tons of updates at that time. But in the end I was lazy and did not do much of anything. Upon returning to work I have had so much work to catch up on and finish that I have been neglecting the site. I will be adding mass updates over the next few days so stick around to see what interesting things have been going on.

Well today I took it upon myself to hardwire a component cable to my PS2. No we still have not upgraded to a PS3 or Xbox 360, just not in the budget. But our 8 month old 42" HDTV has component in connectors. I had heard that the video is a little bit better than using the standard composite cable but I did not want to spend the money on a new AV connector for such an old machine. So I looked up the pinout for the PS2 AV connector and hardwired the needed female RCA jacks straight to the PS2 circuit board. All together it took about 1/2 hour to find the information I needed and about 15 minutes to take the PS2 apart and solder in the 4 needed wires. And I have to say the picture is much improved. Text is very sharp and overall image quality is improved by at least 50% I have tested it so far with God of War 2 and Madden 2008. Me and my son will be testing it with Mortal Kombat Armageddon here in a little bit. Cool stuff, this is what I do for fun. haha

Well after much consideration and planning I purchased the domain name wheelofblogs.com on August, 3rd. This will be unlike any other blog community that I have researched in the past. The ranking system will be totally different, based on dedication and hard work of the bloggers. We are working on the custom algorithms that will power the site to new heights. It will work somewhat like a web spider that is tailored just for blogs. Good things ahead with this site I think visit wheelofblogs.com to sign up for the updates and beta testing list.

My ebook was finally accepted by Amazon on August 2nd. This is my first entry into the ebook market so though I know the market is somewhat flooded with new ebook entries at this time I do have hope that at least a few people will check mine out. The book is called Taking The Fall and is priced at Amazon for $2.99. Writing and editing even this novella length story was a long process and I learned a lot of tricks with Microsoft Word that I had never heard of before. Regardless of how this one does I will be working on another much longer novel. I will be starting this sometime within the next couple months after I complete a few other projects that I am currently working on. As a hint on the new book the working title is "A Man Named Jim". This story is fictional but based on the exciting life of a man I once knew. Keep checking back for updates.

Well today I finally finished my new fiction e-book and uploaded it to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. This is a short story about how one bad decision can cause many unexpected outcomes. The book is in review right now and I will post an update when it is available for purchase. It took me longer to edit the book than it did to write it. I have many idea's for more books along with many other angles that I am exploring right now.
Recently I read the book The Millionaire Fastlane, this is a good book that will open the eyes of many people who are living the grind. This is not a get rich quick scheme or anything like that just a good read on what not to do if you want to live a comfortable life. There is no business plan here or anything like that, this is just a good hard look at what we have been taught versus what makes more sense. So with that I have started to explore new business angle's other than my normal 8-5 IT job. There is a forum at TheFastLaneForm.com that sort of goes along with the book but reading the book is not really required to join the forum, though if you have read the book the forum will make more sense. Check it out if you want a different angle on life and finances.
So with that out of the way. I am on my second day without drinking energy drinks feeling great. i did drink a lot of Tea today but it does not have anywhere near the same amount of sugar in it so better in many ways. When I was on my energy drink drive I frequently used sleep aid's like Tylenol PM to help me get to sleep, I do not think I will need that tonight which is a good thing, I will wake up faster and more energized in the morning and maybe finally get my walking and exercises started. Wish me luck.
Later,
Bryan
